Iraq War 10 years later

Engaging series of posts from “Duck of Minerva” on the 10 year anniversary of the Iraq War. In and of itself this anniversary is somewhat misleading, as it creates what I believe is a false disjuncture between the original invasion of Iraq 1991, and the long sanctions regime and regular bombing raids to maintain the “no-fly zones” that went on for a decade. Nonetheless, this 10th anniversary has effectively reopened a critical conversation, which is welcome. The posts by Juan Cole are also well worth the attention on this topic on InformedComment
